Video Blender is a Tool that allows students to create a multimedia rich presentation using text, sounds and images from files in the program, or their own photographs and sounds. Other programs like PowerPoint and Hyperstudio can be imported into Video Blender, but students can edit video, sound and text files and photo images within the program itself. By creating and using buttons, students are able to navigate through the program. The accompanying booklet offers excellent help to the user unfamiliar with this type of software. The icons are easily recognisable and the vocabulary is conventional. Although this Tool can be used for quite simple presentations, for the more advanced student it offers facilities to produce a high quality presentation in a structured way.
